Yes, if they were admitted to the first year in the year of their secondary school leaving exam and are a winner of an international olympiad or a winner or finalist of a national-level olympiad, or a current medalist of at least a national team competition for the title of Polish Champion. Such students are not counted towards the limit of scholarship holders in the program. Applications are submitted at the beginning of each semester.
Yes, based on academic results from their bachelor’s studies. The scholarship GPA is the bachelor’s GPA determined in accordance with the Regulations of the completed university. If a weighted average cannot be calculated (no ECTS credits in the previous study record), the scholarship GPA is the arithmetic average of that period, calculated excluding courses graded as “pass”. Students who did not complete their bachelor’s degree at TUL must attach a certificate or supplement to the application confirming that GPA.
From the previous semester. For students in the first semester of a master’s program, achievements from the last semester of their bachelor’s studies count. Those who are not TUL graduates attach a certificate clearly indicating the dates of that semester and the date of graduation.
Among others:
- non-scientific publications (reports, columns, articles in daily press, etc.),
- participation in open lectures, workshops, panel meetings, and meetings with company and institution representatives,
- awards and distinctions for delivered papers and poster presentations,
- participation in contests, festivals, and olympiads as well as their elimination rounds,
- achievements confirmed only by the applicant’s statement.
