Yes - based on the academic results from their bachelor’s studies. For students in the first semester of a master’s program, the scholarship GPA is the weighted average of all grades obtained during the bachelor’s studies. If it is not possible to calculate a weighted average (e.g., due to the absence of ECTS credits in the previous study program), the arithmetic average from that period is used instead.
The arithmetic average is calculated excluding courses graded as “pass.” First-semester master’s students who did not complete their bachelor’s degree at Lodz University of Technology are required to attach a certificate confirming the GPA obtained during their bachelor’s studies to their scholarship application.
