Yes, if the income per capita in your household does not exceed 1908,90 PLN net.
When they do not share a household with parents/guardians and meet at least one condition:
- are 26 or older,
- are married,
- have dependent children,
- reached adulthood while in foster care,
- have a stable source of income and the average income (previous year and current year—months prior to the statement) is ≥ 1.15 of the sum specified in Art. 5(1) and Art. 6(2)(3) of the Family Benefits Act.
In particularly justified cases—by decision of the Scholarship Commission or the Rector. Documentation may include:
- proof of living in a dorm/other facility with a non-working spouse or a child and no permanent residence in Łódź,
- a certificate of residence in another collective accommodation facility,
- a statement regarding a rented room/flat + no permanent residence in Łódź,
- for exchanges (LA/MOSTECH) - a copy of the agreement; in this case, the no-permanent-residence-in-Łódź condition does not apply,
- other documents.

Yes. Foreigners may apply for the rector’s scholarship, the scholarship for students with disabilities, and emergency aid. The conditions for a social scholarship are specified by regulations (including EU/EFTA/Switzerland citizens and families, UK citizens with residence rights, permanent residents, refugee/ protection status, Pole’s Card, C1 Polish certificate, specified residence permits, and researcher mobility).
